What You Should Know About SNP Plans in Storey County

SNP plan enrollment is strictly limited. Enrollees must demonstrate qualification through one or more of three criteria:

  1. An institutionalized individual,
  2. A dual-eligible (Medicare and Medicaid) person, or
  3. An individual with a severe or disabling chronic condition approved by Medicare.

When to Enroll in a Special Needs Plan

If you qualify, you can join or switch plans during a Medicare Election Period. For most people living in Storey County, the Annual Election Period (AEP), which starts on October 15th and ends on December 7th, is the time they update their enrollment.
